Established in 1991, Deltas of Charlotte Foundation's main purpose is to support the programs of the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. through public service and scholarships. In 1994, the organization obtained non profit 501(c)(3) status. All financial members of the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are also members of Deltas of Charlotte Foundation. In 1996 Deltas of Charlotte Foundation purchased property located at 5408 Beatties Ford Road in Charlotte North Carolina. This location is known as the "Delta House" where many community programs are held. It also serves as the meeting place for many Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Deltas Of Charlotte Foundation committee meetings.
